A somewhat blustery day. Three brave souls take out the Club Enterprise dinghy.

All went well until the mast became stuck on the mud bottom – was that supposed to happen?

Club Talk by Margaret & Jack Pryde

CLUB TALK WITH MARGARET & JACK PRYDE

25TH APRIL 20.00 START

AHOY SHIPMATES!!!

Ever wondered what it would be like to sail the seven seas and just go where the wind will let you?  Long standing FSMBC Club Members Margaret and Jack Pryde do exactly that every year on their large sailing yacht resulting in  many tales to relate and they have agreed to share some of these on 25th April in the Club House.

Come along and be inspired with hints and tips to living aboard in far flung ports and how to get by without speaking the local lingo!  Both Margaret and Jack are excellent raconteurs, very entertaining and well worth an evening in their company.

Linda Neale and I will be serving a light supper after the talk for £3.00 per person so why not come along, have a beer or 2 from the bar and catch up with fellow salty sea-dogs at the start of the 2014 sailing season!

See you there!

Dee
