It is with sadness that, I must part with Morag Morgan, a very pretty well equipped boat. We have been together for 39 years and she has served me well in all weather conditions. A Fareham Sailing Club boat built by a club member for his family and it would be nice to keep her in the club.

The hull paintwork was stripped back and recoated with epoxy primer and polyurethane topcoat in 2010 and the interior was painted and re-varnished in 2013.

A well balanced sloop (no bowsprit necessary) built as cutter and can be easily converted back if required. New spray hood and boom cover in 2014.

Roller furling head sail and slab reefed mainsail (new in 2014), spare head sails. Radar reflector.

Interior layout is two forward V berths, dinette with drop down table, which also converts to double berth and a quarter berth (see layout sketch). Wallis 1 Kw hot air paraffin heater.  New Sink, Whale Pump, in line water filter and Radio CD player with USB port fitted 2014.  Sea toilet in compartment.

Full electrical system with two 110 amp batteries, interior lighting and navigation lights including deck and anchor lights.

Chart Table, Huson 60 VHF radio, Garmin GPS map with English channel chip, Seafarer Echo Sounder,  Nautech 1000 Autohelm.  Sestral Clock and Barometer Wind instrument, paddle log and compass.

Many Stainless Steel fittings including mast tabernacle, thro hull rudder, cleats, stem head fitting, sampson post and window trims.

The engine is a Yanmar 2GM20 twin cylinder 16hp diesel fitted 1994 and regularly serviced (last serviced September 2017 and run about 3 hours since). Stern gland is maintenance free with a stern greaser. New cutlass bearing recently fitted. Propeller is three bladed 14 x 11 and is fitted with a Hayles rope cutter.

Also includes a Danforth anchor and chain, two horseshoe life rings, kedge anchor and rope, fenders, warps and full length winter cover.

RYA Satisfaction Survey 2019

RYA Satisfaction Survey 2019:

Your club – your chance to have a say

Your club has chosen to take part in this survey, which has been organised and funded by the RYA. The survey will be delivered by TLF Research and carried out in accordance with data protection regulations and industry best practice.

Regardless of your reasons for joining the club and how you spend the time when you visit, we want you to feel satisfied.

We know it’s not always easy for you to tell us directly how you feel, or what you want us to do differently, so we’re conducting a survey to give you a chance to share your thoughts anonymously.

The survey will be emailed to you, and will be open for the whole of June. It won’t take long to fill in and, if you prefer, you can complete the survey in chunks. Each time you click on the link it will take you back to where you left off. It couldn’t be easier.

We know you’ll be just as interested in the feedback as we are. After the survey, we will share the findings with you and let you know what action we plan to take.

Please take this opportunity to tell us what you think; it’s your chance to have a say and it will be ten minutes well spent!

Please go to the RYA Members Satisfaction Survey link for further information.
